Description

This is my new skirt! I really love it because it’s so simple and versatile and I wear it all the time. I drafted the pattern myself. It’s a six-gored, high-waisted, a-linish skirt with two very deep pockets in the front and belt loops, so that I can wear my favourite belts with it. The skirt was very easy to make and I like it so much that I’m thinking of making another variation using the same pattern. Maybe one for spring! Yeah!

    I am in love with this skirt! Such a great design. It looks great on you. I’m not a pattern drafter, so was wondering if you’ve based it on anything I could understand?

      Thanks for your compliments! The skirt is a very simple pattern and many pattern companies sell similar styles. Butterick 3134 has the same style lines as mine and so does SImplicity 2152. The Simplicity pattern even has a pocket option that’s very similar to my skirt. Good luck with making your skirt!
