I only ever used to wear warm colours but I’m liking cooler colours lately and I’m loving purple. I bought this pattern last week and made this dress today while my daughter napped and played on her mat next to me – I’m becoming good at singing nursery rhymes and sewing at the same time! I then I wore it to dinner tonight with my husband, I love quick projects like this which provide instant satisfaction! this dress is very easy to make, I think the longest part was the cutting out. I didn’t finish the edges of the flounces because this stretch fabric won’t fray. I didn’t have to make any adjustments and it fits perfectly and is really comfortable, hooray!
