This is my version of the Marie skirt.
it was one of those projects that constantly evolved during the process of making it. First I wanted to make a skirt like the one oranereuland made, with a big bow in the front. Then I decided to make the back plain (no pleats). And then the pleats looked better inside out. And when I tried it on, the ruffles in the front looked more like I was wearing a loincloth. Bustle pleats in the back were more like it. I didn’t have any matching invisible zippers left so I sewed it to the outside. Then I adjusted the silhouette by taking in some of the width in the hem. Which forced me to add a slit and so on… every thing I did brought new ideas :)
I love projects like that :D
On top of that I finally managed to have some decent shots of my vest and FAVO jacket taken :)
