I just finished my new shawl! I bought 0,2 kg of this gorgeous thick but soft and gentle wool and decided to make a rich and warm shawl. Considering the thickness and the 9 mm needles used for knitting it was finished very fast. It measures 70 × 30 cm.
Perfect wool :)

Try it, woman! The only things that you need are the needles and wool. And a lil bit of good will ;)

Now I’m eating myself I haven’t included word “chunky” in the shawl’s name :shame: :)

This is gorgeous! Do you have any instructions on how to make this?

Instructions? It is VERY easy. My only problem will be how to explain, because my English in knit-domain is kinda poor :) but I’ll try.
I used 9 mm needles and very thick-threaded wool. In the beginning, I made 40 loops and started to knit the basic rib stitch – you increase one row and decrease the next one by using this combo:
K P K P K P K P K P K P
K P K P K P K P K P K P
K P K P K P K P K P K P
K – knit, P – purl.
After cca 15 lines I used rice knit stitch:
K P K P K P K P K P K P
P K P K P K P K P K P K
K P K P K P K P K P K P
for a few rows to break the monotony.
If I haven’t explained this, let me know and I’ll try to get you some links, pics and more :)
