Baltimore, Maryl...

A hooded sweatshirt commissioned by a friend of mine. Unfortunately I won’t be making any more of these, as the materials are impossible for me to find.

If you like it – make it! Totoros for everyone!

This is amazing! I’m so in love! I’m curious, did you use a pattern for the base and then just add ears, eyes and the painting, or did you draft it all yourself? I’d love to emulate it, if you don’t mind! I’ve a friend whose birthday is soon who is absolutely mad for Totoro, and something like this would be perfect!

My sewing style involves getting out my measuring tape, my fabric and my shears hahaha. I didn’t use a pattern but it would be easy enough to modify one to that end result. Of course I don’t mind if other people make this: Totoros for the masses!

If you mean the pattern on the chest – it’s just fabric paint I used with a stencil.
