I made this dress for our vacation in Mexico. I wanted a maternity dress that I could also wear beyond my pregnancy time. The Burda pattern 133 5/2011 looked like a good idea and the Mexican inspired fabric a perfect choice. I only brought a couple of minor changes to the pattern: shortened the length of the dress and of the shoulder drawstrings.
Hit the city streets in adventurous looks with utilitarian details like cargo pockets and belts.
Twists on feminine classics, like a bold patterned shift dress and pants with a racing stripe.
