I saw on burdastyle.com that many members were creating clothing out of men’s old shirts. My boyfriend has so many he does not wear so I snatched one and made a tank top and used a fuschia silk shirt that I found to create the embelishments. It is a pull-over, no zippers or functioning buttons. I got the idea for the frilly embelishments on the front from a top made by Maria Jose, called fluorescent adolescent. This was so simple to make and I have so many more old shirts to recycle and try new things. Maybe a dress is next.
