Madison, made with lightweight check cotton from the bargain bin.

Not as neat as it could be. Would probably go down a size next time so as not to need the belt.

    Lovely dress!!! I agree with Lauriana, you should grade it to a smaller waist rather than go down a size completely.

    Nice dress, your choice of fabric gives it a great retro look. I wouldn’t go down a size if I were you. Shoulders, bust and hips seem to fit fine (you need a bit of ease, after all), it’s just the waist that’s too big. You can solve that drawing your own pattern lines from the smaller size waist to the larger size for the rest of the dress.
