hello burdapeople.
I would like to show you this lovely blanket I made a few years ago.
I still keep it and is the warmest thing ever! specially for those winter afternoons.
I had the idea of making a polarfleece patchwork blanket but then I thought why not making on patchwork cotton fabric with fringe lace over the edges on one side and polarfleece with multifunctional stitch on the other side…

1mt of polar fleece
circles of different polar fleece
colourful fabric pieces (10×10)
fringe lace
wool

I love my quilt… it is amazing ,and so cozy..
It keeps me warm when I most need it.
I really think everybody should make one for themselves and experience how wonderful is to make your own quilt.

Polar fleece is the new down comforter!
Great quilting! It’s always a delight to see the “new” fabric created through quilting.
There is NOTHING like being wrapped in a quilt of your own making.
