Dress is great. :) I have one question: Where is your zipper? In Burda says that there must be a zipper, but I don`t know how to sew it! xD I`ll be glad if you didn`t used it. :)

I’m afraid I do have a zip! It’s an invisible zip and I think it’s on the left hand side. I can’t remember as I’m at work whilst writing this!

I loved this dress as soon as I saw it in 2/2011 and have been searching for the right fabric for it….I have passed this Swiss dot cotton in my local fabric store around 100 times without realising it’s potential!!! Thank you for showing me the light! I think I may be a copy cat and make the same dress in the same material….although I’m really messy so couldn’t keep white clean for 5 minutes….I have seen it in a light grey though! Thank you!

It’s lovely. The texture from the Swiss dot helps break up all the white, and brings interest to a dress that might have otherwise been a tad dull. The red belt is a great addition too. Does the orignal pattern have both waist and bust darts? I have this issue but I suppose I haven’t looked that closely.

Hi Peaches, the original dress just has waist darts and I added the bust darts to give me a better fit.
Thank you for your comments!

You achieved what you were going for. It fits you quite nicely through the bust.
