Fife, United Kin...
From Butterick B4251, I have finally got this finished, only a couple of months behind schedule but just in time for a Scottish heat wave (its not that unusual is it!)
The supports are 1 1/4" instead of 1" diameter, which accounts for the little more ‘splay’ at the top, but once we are inside playing its not really that important.
The first time of putting it up, I felt like I was at least an extra 2 pairs of hands short but now we have all the ribbons set its pretty easy :-)
This could be the ‘tent’ that my sewing machine and I have been trying to avoid making for years (no, those were summer dresses!!)
Poly/cotton and cotton for body of wigwam.
Poly/cotton and fleece for the bed roll with a thinsulate wadding
Lots of ribbon, and some wooden beads.
