This winter seems like you can not go through without CAPE.
I finished my very first cape few days ago. I always thought that cape is not so practical outfit but it isn’t.
My cape is made cashmere wool and fully lined with wool jersey. so it’s enough to keep me warm.
I was thinking to wear cape over my favotite leather jacket. it was even more warmer than wool coat.
Used pattern Vogue8776 but with alterations.
shortened neck collar height and cape lenght. skipped pocket and front closer. used piping tutorial.
I don’t think i will sew another cape but happy i made one.
