This is my variation on the Lydia skirt. It has vertical blue and grey stripes with a thick black waist.
I'm not sure what kinds of fabric I used. I think they're both stretchy knit fabrics.

After I saw this yesterday, I ran out to pick up some material… I definetly made a roll down waistband and skipped the zipper and lining. It turned out amazing.

I really like this too. What’s exciting (besides that cool striped fabric!) is that it looks like you could make it a roll-down waistband, which I love.
