This is based on the lena bag pattern by latjjardbai. I updated it a bit to make it more of a purse than a bag. I kept the long length through the body of the purse but shortened the straps by about half. So that when the straps are over my shoulder the bag falls just at my hip. I used slate gray suiting fabric for the outside, and I am not sure what the lining fabric is. But it is very slick and slinky and was a bit of a pain to work with. But the colors are great so that I can match this bag with several office outfits.
The instructions for this pattern are a bit off, so check the comments before you start. I also added pictures of the right and wrong way to put the bag body pieces together.
