Laurelle in denim. It was fun making, but doing the jeans features such as double topstiching etc was kind of tricky when lacking the proper equip (and skills perhaps..). In the end it came out a wee bit to tight so I had to use the allovances and move the side seams out. I’m happy with it anyway, and I’ve already started wearing it.
Oh, and I made an effort to make the inside look nice too.
PS It’s been bugging me that I can’t get the pics sharp, and now that I took new ones, the skirt has shrunk : -) i’m thinking I’ll be able to squeeze into it in the fall….

I think you did a fantastic job on this! I think the top-stitching looks great considering how hard it is! I love the ribbon detail (the little tag poking out is so cute)! I need to try this pattern :)

Great to see you wearing it! I know that topstitching can be a pain, especially if you want the inside to look nice too, but it looks very good now! Sorry I never got around to making a how to about sewing the back slit. I hope you’ll enjoy wearing your skirt!
