My result using the Katjusha pattern provided by Elegant-Impressions, needed to put a zip in. I also made a sash/belt to wrap round my middle and make a large bow at the back.

I’m in the process of making this same dress for my 14 year old daughter and I’m having the same issue as you. Ive already had to add two 3 inch panels to the bodice sides cos the bodice wouldn’t go over her head and now it will go over her head but I’m very concerned about what will happen when I add the skirt. Its so strange, I mean, my daughter is 5 foot 2 and 110 lbs, just what size was this made for?? Has anyone made it without having to alter it, I wonder?

That’s fabulous! We were really corious after we have read your post on our wall! What a shame that you have no pics from the back because we would love to see the large bow!
Great dress!
