great job! i agree, the loop should be incorporated when sewing the lining and bag tops together. it was a step i overlooked when putting the tutorial together and i wish i hadn’t gotten ahead of myself! there is also a zipper variation that i posted as a how-to if you’re interested. can’t wait to see more!
