I filmed a music video of “My Immortal” by Evanescence at college and needed a light airy dress for a happy flash-back moment in the shoot so I made this dress during the weekend to start the shoot on the monday! For a quick job I’m thrilled how it turned out and it’s now one of my fav outfits :)
I altered the neck and hem lines, left off the sleeves, added a frill around the bottom and added lace and pretty heart buttons for a girly look.
Pretty bird patterned cotton, red cotton, lace and buttons

I like this a lot. The buttons by the neckline are very cool.

I hadn’t given this pattern a second glance before, but now I’ve seen what you’ve done with it, I really like it! I particularly love what you’ve done with the red tie – it makes a real statement.

I love your version of Celestina, the fabric is beautiful! Amy Lee from Evanescence could envy you this lovely “immortal” dress! :)
