Description

I have been really excited about all of the capes being made. I was inspired by Meg of Sew Happy Clothes with her amazing cape and decided to make my own. I had found this fabric at a thrift store for just a few dollars. I had so much of it that I decided to line it with the same material. It is a really soft fleece possibly wool combination. I found some buttons that also has some geometric lines on it to match the houndstooth pattern.
I love how the capelet has a belt. This makes it feel fitted. I think that this is funny when thinking about a cape because they usually cover you like a bell. This feels like a jacket that has some freedom.
