I made this skirt for a party I went to this Saturday. It’s made of some leftover corduroy that my mother gave me. I had app. 1,10*1,05 m, witch was just enough! The waistband is lined with some leftover black satin from my stash.
I absolutely love the style of the skirt, it’s perfect for both party and school, and is SOOO comfortable!
I used the “Quick Party Skirt”-how to, but made the waistband wider, the skirt shorter and as full as I had material for. Also, I added side seams to the waistband, as this kind of skirt often will “twist” around the body when dancing, and I find it way easier to adjust when there’s a side seam. I found the instructions very clear, and will definitely use it again!
1,10*1,05 of soft, hot pink corduroy, black satin (lining), invisible zipper, tread, iron-on interfacing (for the waistband)
