A very simple hippie style dress. I just basically cut out a tube, put elastic at the waist and the neckline and straps that cross in the back. The bottom is also tiered. I wanted to break up the loud print, and have the border on the bottom. I also have the border of the fabric going up the back to create some height. The hem is unfinished.
I found this amazing fabric at an estate sale a while ago. The owner purchased it in Mexico in the 60's. It was originally a wall hanging! I really designed the dress to showcase the fabric. I'm really pleased with how it turned out.
