Description

I made this dress out of two patterns, the Marie skirt pattern and the bodice of the dress with a gathered skirt. I did make some fundamental errors making this dress. Namely I didn’t realise that the bodice pattern did not include a seam allowance, so to say it’s a bit on the tight side would be an understatement. But if I breathe in it fits quite nicely…

I also added a couple of pockets, because I believe that all dresses should come with pockets.

    I love the combo pattern! I love the fabric, and yes, all dresses should have pockets! lol Pockets have been the reason I have purchased dresses in the past. GREAT DRESS!
