there was a really great vintage green dress that i wanted on ebay, (here: http://tinyurl.com/22v3tvm
) but the price was a little much for me. i decided i would try to make something like it and since i enjoyed the simplicity pattern i used yesterday, i decided to use the same pattern for this. i started last night and finished this afternoon. so this is my version of the original dress that i wanted.
1 1/3 yards lime kona cotton, heavy weight interfacing for belt, vintage jacquard ribbon, vintage lace trim, and vintage green 22" zipper.

I love it! I love the color and the fit and the belt. I like that the top has room :-) Great dress!! I think it’s way better than the one you saw on ebay.

Very cute dress and the detail on the belt is eye catching.

Just beautiful and how great that you were able to make a copy of something that had caught your eye.
