Burda Style For people who sew
Description
This is what I made for myself to go to the 50s festival. The top is from dress 116 from burdastyle 06/2011 which I made it a little longer. The skirt is from burdastyle young fashion pattern 8147.
I really love this dress and it also looks nice without the petticoat undernaeth.
On the picture you can`t see the petticoat, which is red and made of some lining fabric and a lot of tulle. I had to learn that tulle is quite difficult to handle but I somehow managed it in time.

This dress is much cuter than the original magazine model. The contrast between the blue and the white makes the shaping look more natural. Good choice!
