Description

This was the very first dress I made, using Simplicity 2472. I found this bargain silk polyester blend material that cost only $5/metre (cheap by Canadian standards). The pattern was super easy to make and I love the puffy sleeves. It may look a bit on the big side, but I pair it with a big chunky woven leather belt and an opera length double strand of pearls to glam it up, or sometimes a belt and a pair of black leggings. It’s so versatile and totally rocks.

I made no changes to the pattern, except to shorten it a bit as I am only 5’4".
