Description
Vintage pattern, McCalls 7641. This pattern has been in my stash for a while, I have no idea where I originally got it from. Daughter no 2 spotted it a couple of weeks ago and loved the strawberry one. I had a feeling I had the perfect fabric hiding in the cupboard somewhere, and sure enough.. I had this pretty cotton print from a purchase at Linda Harper’s in Kenilworth last year. I thought I’d kill some time before the sewing repair man opened for business, always a dangerous maneuver! It is a cute vintage print in purples, blues and an olive sort of green. I shortened the dress by about 15 cm, but otherwise it is as the pattern, apart from an invisible zip! I used French seams throughout.
