“Ok, now I know what I do differently with the upholstery next time in order to have it perfect”, I said, having stapled the fabric to the bottom of the couch.
“Perfect is the enemy of good”, my husband said. I could not agree more. I like my couch the way it is. It took me about a month, a couple of hours every day while my son slept I would work on the upholstery.
Basically, first you need to destaple old staff (this was the most tedious job ever). Then, you do the upholstery in reversed order to the destapling. Now it all seems SO easy. But, believe me, there was a time when I was literally sweating and cursing over this project.
