Description

BWOF 01-2008-108
“A short, shaped blouse with a bib insert, tie-collar, and puff sleeves.”

I sewed the collar tab but I ran out of fabric for a bow. Still thinking what color would work best. Suggestions?

Material Notes

husband's shirt, leftover white cotton fabric

I turned so madly enthusiastic after having seen your creation that I actually pay you my first comment ever (I’m a bit shy when English is requested)! This is really lovely, was the pattern designed to be made after a men’s shirt, or did you decide this yourself? If you did, a how-to would be really great indeed (and if Burda did, it would be lovely of the team to publish the pattern, upcycling is always nice, useful and inspiring)! As for the bow, your fabric seems to be able to match anything, so the best choice might be the color that best suits your complexion…

I love it! I always wanted to do that but end up chickening out and donating the blouses/shirts instead lol

Great JOB! Very nice,…fits you to a T. Why pick any one colour? :-)
