A top using the pattern 122 from the German Burda magazine (2/2008). The first top I made and also the first thing ever that I made not using How Tos or patterns from this page. The pattern also has short sleeves, but I liked it better witout. I am pretty proud (I always am when Ihave made something that fits ok and does not look too ugly, I am a beginner^^) how it turned out although some seams turned out quite bad and the hem is not the best either.. The fabric is from IKEA. I love those fabrics although very often they are a bit too stiff to make nice stuff from them…

Gosh, so many comments o.O
Thank you all so much for your approvals!
@emareeviles: I am not good at suggesting patterns, but perhaps you could alter the one i used, so that it fits…
Oh, a confession, that the pattern is that centered on the yoke was no purpose^^

I agree too – great top! I’ve been looking for a similar pattern but with more of a waist. If anyone can suggest something? Good job though.. the fabric is beautiful.

I really love this fabric. You did a great job! Don’t use words like ‘ugly’…you sell yourself short! I’m sure nothing you make looks ugly! You’re doing beautifully. We’re all here to learn! Thanks for sharing this great top!
