I was so excited about the new JJ pattern, I got right to work. I had some problems with the slit facing on the sleeve, but the directions were so good that all I had to do was follow closely and it worked itself out. I did realize after I put the sleeves on that I put them on the wrong sides, live and learn! The ruffles were really hard to get even on both sides, but this is my first shirt EVER and I’m really proud of it. It is wrinkly beacuse I wore it today…!

The blouse made out of this fabric looks awesome! Well done!
I was also thinking about getting some nice romantic fabric and get started sewing this shirt. Your choice is great inspiration :)

Came out so cute! Yes, I agree that the ruffles are not fun.
I have a few ideas of making them easier, will post it on how to
today.

Rebekah – I started on tuesday or wednesday and finished saturday night. That whole time includes piecing together the home printed pattern and cutting the fabric. Thank you all for th great feedback!
