I have been searching for a blouse staple, to make many versions of and wear for any situation. I have like Colette Patterns since I first saw it 2 years ago and I finally bought the pattern. I am a sucker for a back buttoning blouse and the colour is one of my favourites. I used size 42 for bust and hips and graded to 44 for my poddy tummy. It fits well and I love it. For next time, I will lower the neck a little as it sits a bit too high for my comfort.
The maker grades this as a beginner pattern, but I found that the amount of handwork and grading had pushed it into intermediate for me.
300 count cotton sateen sheeting from IKEA (bought for this project). Pearl buttons reused from an old cardigan.
