This is one of my first creations. I used the Michelle-pattern, but shortened the skirt a bit.
As I hardly ever sew before, the result isn’t perfect at all. I made a lot of mistakes. One is the choice of the fabric that is much too thin.
After all I don’t mind. Practice makes perfect, doesn’t it?
thin green cotton fabric, white IKEA-fabric with thin flowerprint (an old curtain)

Hey, this looks great! Just keep trying. You should see how uneven the ribbon is on the placemats I made and how I sewed a ruffle on backwards on a shirt. No one really knows about it unless I point it out. But I still love them and use them!

I think it looks great. I LOVE your colour choice. I am still learning and always making mistakes. I think as long as I am enjoying sewing I dont care to much if things arent wearable. I figure if I persist surely I can only get better!!!

Congrats on your first creation!
I sometimes still make small mistakes, but I figure nobody will notice them but me, so I just don’t mention them. (And most people are polite enough not to mention if they do see them).
