I’ve had this Jalie pattern for ages but finally sewed it up – I’ve used the view with the shorts underneath (there’s also a briefs option). The contrast fabric sides conceal two massive pockets which is SO useful for running – instead of two big armbands, I can fit my phone, Oystercard, money, and two big packs of gummy gels for my long runs and keep my arms bare! I tested this out on my long run on Saturday, and after 15.5mi/25km (over 2.5 hours!) of running, I’m happy to say that I’ll change nothing for future pairs. I totally love this! (Excuse the sweaty hair, these photos were taken after the 2.5 hour run!)
Black Supplex from Tia Knight on eBay, and Spirographix lycra from Suzie Spandex in Montreal for the sides.
