This quilt is my very first, it’s for my cousin’s new baby… I did an okay job but not awesome. I didn’t measure anything so I’m surprised that the piecing all matched up presentably well, but the stitching on the quilting is a little less than straight. I used plain quilting cotton from a local store and the patterned stuff I got when I went to Japan recently, they have the best stuff there. I hope she likes it.

Hi karencilla! I didn’t use a book or pattern for this, in fact the more I think about it the more I realise its a miracle it even turned out halfway decent. I bet there would be heaps of sources on the net for quilting, you might not have to buy a book!

I am certain she will love it and how snuggly warm the new baby will be. Great Job! Quilts are a big project, you are very brave and should be proud of yourself!
