It was less difficult than expected. I think I can say this because I had my sewing teacher next to me who seems to know everything…
It’s my first poche passepoile… oups… looks like I don’t acquired the whole English vocabulary… if someone can help me with the translation, I’d be very grateful.
The fabric is a wool blended to some line maybe (it’s second hand so I don’t really know the composition and I’m not an expert, I wish I could).
I needed 8 buttons but had just 6 from those I wanted so I made a mix.

WOW! Those are gorgeous. I can’t believe those are your first attempt. I’m. truthfully, a bit scared to try pants.

Great job! Can’t believe that it’s your first pair of pants. I like it better with the 6 buttons instead of 8.

Actually, there are 8 buttons, but 2 of them are black so they don’t appear in the picture.

Poche passepoilée = welt pocket, according to Google Translate (strange, “passepoile” means piping, no?)
These look lovely and very flattering, I’ll have to consider the pattern when I get brave enough to try pants! :)

Oh thank you ! For me, piping is something dealing with oil…
Try pants! I also thought it would be the optimum difficult project but if you have the pattern (and if it fits to your dimension) it’s very easy!

Bravo pour le français alors ! Et pour l’anglais, c’est “welt pocket” selon omgdora (le commentaire suivant). Si j’apprends un mot par article, ça m’en fera du vocabulaire !

how beautiful. Love the full leg and I would be wearing the all the time tooo! Light wool fabric is the best for the hot summer months, I agree with you fully.
Wonderful fit and all.

They are! I’m spending my whole summer wearing them whereas it’s wool but I love them!

A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Sometimes you can’t even get such a good fit in a store bought pant. Nice job.
