i recently got a serger and was super excited to work on my first knit dress! i am very pleased with how it turned out. the knit is a medium weight interlock (organic even!) and is so soft and comfortable. it’s like wearing a sweatshirt! the bodice is self-lined and the skirt is lined in a turquoise tricot material.
i couldn’t decide on the best tights & shoes combo… feel free to weigh in!
as always, more on my blog: notes from a mad housewife
shell: 100% organic cotton, interlock knit. lining: tricot.

Very cute! I like the red tights most and and would be perfect with red belt! But the dress alone is good too, you did a good job!

I’d say all the shoe/tights combos are great.
