This dress is my first sewing creation! My grandmother and aunt were an incredible help. This dress was more difficult than we initially thought it would be because we had to make several alterations. I’m so happy with the way the dress turned out! The pattern included a belt that ties in the front, but it breaks up the dress too much. I’m not sure if I like the dress better without the belt or with the belt tied in the back.
navy print fabric, white fabric, fusible interfacing, zipper, thread
Oma and my Aunt Sylvi for teaching and helping me with the whole dress. I never could have made this without them!
