This is really my first ever from scratch thing I’ve made. :] I feel pretty okay about the outcome.
It was just a whole blue dress at first, but I decided to add something to make it not so boring.
I had to alter it a bit. The front bodice is non existent, it’s just two of the front pieces sewn together. And the back is lowered a bit, and the bodice I’m having trouble with. It doesn’t stay in the garment. It folds up and sticks out. Oh well.

Very lovely!! I am currently making my first Danielle, too – it’s an awesome dress. I like your stripe of fun in the middle. If you are still having trouble with the lining flipping out on you, try this how to: “Keep Facings from Flipping Out”
