This is my first attempt at making a corset. I even drafted the pattern myself and I’m happy with how it came out. It’s not perfect but I didn’t expect it to be. This was also my first time using boning, and eyelets so I learned a lot.

looks good, love the fabric! one tip…put boning in on both sides of the grommets/eyelets…it strengthens the lacing panel a lot and you won’t get the wrinkles in the back. :)

Good job! I’m also planning to sew my first corset, but maybe as first attempt I will try with an already existing pattern…

It’s not too hard to make your own pattern. I got the instructions from http://www.kimberleypope.com/how_to_make_a_corset/opening_page.html you might give it a try =)
