Project of the week!
My first? I think there will be more. We are heading into winter, here in Oz, so this browny red* and gold mix will be brightening the darkening days… I am thinking of a leather one before winter is out and a flowered toile one come spring. What are you thinking of?
A few modifications for it to work with fabric. Double interfacing (sew in and iron on) used as the fabric is fairly light.
Thanks Sean and BurdaStyle!
P.S. I have been asked how I made the belt from fabric, so, I have attached a ‘how to’ alter the pattern pieces to do it. Let me know your feedback. I will add some more pics to it when I make a 2nd belt.
*the red is darker and deeper than the first pic (the second pic comes closer to it.

Thanks, shellidawn. Are you working on a project? I had a peek in your studio… nothing. What would you like to make. BurdaStyle has lots of good easy patterns/projects. I hope to see a creation of yours soon!

Blythes are fabulous! Unfortunately I don’t collect them. I just saw myself in this one ;)

Hi Ghainskom, It is a quick project to complete. And thank you for your compliment. I had a look at your website. You do have a lot of things on the go. It is lovely you have a daughter to sew for. It must be very rewarding for you.
