A friend of mine was getting married and the three bridesmaids she chose were all in different parts of the world…one of them though was close to me! She decided to buy enough fabric for three different dresses and asked me to make one of them for Claire. I followed a Simplicity pattern, changing the front slightly by ironing in the creases and adding an organza sash. Considering it’s my first I was pretty pleased with the results.
Organza and an imitation silk that to be honest I hated working with…the pieces never came out straight!
