this is my first attempt at a swimsuit. I ordered a top I liked, but the xs was still too big—so I tried to copy that style. I am not a fan of this fabric so much—I ordered it from spandex warehouse and I thought the pattern was much smaller. This is okay because there are a few things I would do differently and I wasn’t so tentative since I was not in love with the fabric. I also made matching boy shorts but I need to reinforce the seams and attach the elastic waist band. I also am going to attempt a skirted bottom too.

Thanks! the top fits me great! I was pleasantly surprised—I just copied that other top I mentioned. as fas tips… I thought spandex was easy to work with as long as you pinned enough and did not stretch/pull to much when working with it.
