The pattern I used is from BWoF 02/2009, nr 130 by Tristano Onofri. This was my first try on pants and I like them. I used a mixture of wool, silk and cashmere. The pants are very wide and so very comfortable. I also made a pair of linen fabric. Although I prewashed the fabric the pants shrunk while washing. So I have to lengthen the legs (the seam allowances are long enough :-)) before posting some pictures.
It took me a long time to post some new creations because I am not able to post new creations on my own computer since there is the new site (I use Linux, and for this post I uesd a friend’s computer). Hope the errors will be found soon!

it looks great! did you have a problem with size? because I made mine in 36, which is my size…but they came out too large. but i love them, anyway. that is absolutely, the only pants pattern i like happy wearing!

You are right, the pants a very wide but comfortable. I used my normal size. Perhaps it depends on the fabric you use. I made another pair of linen fabric. These were VERY wide because they streched while wearing. But then they shrunk while washing, so now they are fitting perfectly (I still have to make them longer :-), no problem because of wide seam allowances)

Very nice pattern, but what you did to it is completely incredible – the fit, the workmanship, the fabrics! I – among many, it seems – can’t believe it’s your first attempt! You should definitely keep making those and maybe even turn it into a business – it seems you already have a couple of “clients” right here among the comments posters!!! :-)

Those are fantastic. I cannot believe these are your first attempt at pants. Perhaps this will inspire me to start a pants project… at the very least its an excuse to go fabric shopping!

I wish I could make pants too… I haven´t tried yet, because I think it´s very difficult… especially the back parts, when you need to somehow shape it to be round. And I guess the front is even more complicated :).
