I love Lavin.
And I love this dress!
What I don’t love, is the hefty price tag that comes with these beautiful creations.
So when I spotted this grey cotton print (I think it said it was a Kenzo print) at Les Coupons de Saint Pierre, I snatched it up right away.
The patten itself is very very simple and from another Japanese sewing book called “La Couture au Feminin” by Jinko Matsumoto. There are no darts, just three panels each for the front and back, (so basically a tent dress), tied at the waist with a matching sash.
Overall a easy and cute dress!
The back has a two-button closure, no zipper.
This dress has no lining just facings.
printed cotton…by why not silk?
