This dress is made with Kwik Sew 3521, View B.
I’ve had it in my head that I really want some everyday dresses that I can wear with cardigans for work. I knew what I wanted but couldn’t find it in shops (all far too short!), but then I was confused why I wasn’t just making it. Sometimes I forget that I can. I know it sounds silly but I consider myself still a beginner and don’t give myself credit for what i know…I learn so much from my previous project (check out my other project the strawberry halterneck) – I learn so many techniques with that one!
This is the first dress I’ve made that is truly my own work with no help from anyone, but also completely an everyday dress. It’s made using a cute swallow print pattern which is 100% cotton.
I will be making loads more of these! I can see this dress in more colours, embellishments…my mind is working overtime!
I really want to get photo’s of me wearing the items, but I don’t seem to have any daylight opportunities!
I’d love it if you stopped by my blog and you can read more – perhaps bookmark me?! :)http://whereangelsfeartothread.blogspot.co.uk/
100% cotton, black polycotton for lining, 22" invisible zip (was supposed to be 20" but it doesn’t seem possible to buy in that size!
