This is my first project from Sewing Vintage Modern book – Elizabeth Gathered-Waist Dress. Being a huge fan of pretty dresses this pattern was perfect for me. Instructions were easy to follow and this dress was overall very simple to make.
I used fabric that is 50% wool and 50% linen. Since these pictures of the dress did not show how pretty this fabric really is I added one photo showing only the white and blue fabric. Sadly the dress looks more like grey in these photos :)
50% wool – 50% linen, invisible zipper and light interfacing
Take off with pleats, cut-outs, insets, and futuristic prints.
