I needed a slim line wedding dress which I can make within 8 weekends and found Burda March 2010 issue’s dress 108 after reviewing tonnes of wedding dress patterns. I learnt various techniques through Susan Khalje’s Bridal Couture book, Kenneth D King’s Birth of the Bustier book and Gertie’s Bombshell dress online class. I followed the pattern mostly except for elimination of the centre front seam on the bodice and the back bow which I omitted. I also personalised the dress by adding lace trims which I beaded.You can see more details of the dress on my blog:
