This is a dress I made for the nine year old girl in my (french) host family. I used the grandmother’s old sewing machine (15 years old!). I used the Danielle pattern, size 34, and adapted it to the girl.
Danielle is a lovely pattern and making the dress went smoothly.
I actually never seen the dress on the girl, although I didn’t have to adjust it since the mother said “La robe est impeccable!” alas, there was no need.
I love the fabric and I would like to use it to make myself a dress as well. But since I’m returning to Sweden in a couple of days…
I know it looks bad on the photos but I will have to wait another month for a photo with the girl.
