Due to the bold pattern on the fabric, I decided to go for a simple pattern and this dress seemed ideal. I used silk organza interlining to give more body to the fabric (it is also a great way to keep those creases at bay!). The hat was by Rachel Trevor-Morgan http://www.racheltrevormorgan.com/, who was very clever with the design and matched the colours of the hat to the dress fabric. She also happens to be the milliner to the Queen who wore one of her hats at Ascot this year.
