This is the Valentine that I gave to my crazy Valentine this year. I found the tutorial at SewMamaSew . I used a khaki linen for the outer envelope and the insert and I used a cotton heart print fabric for the lining of the envelope. I tried my luck at hand stitching my Valentines name on the outer envelope so it looks like it could use some help. I used my embroidery machine to do the lettering on the insert “I LOVE U” and then hand stitched some old heart trim that was given to me off of freecycle.com. Oh and a red button for the closure of the envelope.
100% khaki linen, 100% cotton heart fabric, stiff interfacing, embroidery floss, embroidery thread, regular sewing thread, red button and tutorial from http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/?p=4778.
